After a first attempt was thwarted by Mother Nature, Michael pulled of the perfect proposal, asking Alexandra to marry him while hiking under sunny skies in the mountains! For their wedding, the couple embraced a style that Alexandra best describes as soft and romantic meets Art Deco glamour. We know you will love this wedding affair as much as we did in these beautiful image by Taura Horn Photography.
FROM THE BRIDE: The most important part of our wedding was the enjoyment of our guests. We wanted our family and friends to have delicious food, festive drinks and a rockin' dance party. Our friends are located all over the country, as we spent about 10 years living away, and many did not know us as a couple yet. Our wedding was meant to celebrate our life-long, albeit long-distance, friendships as much as it was to celebrate us. We wanted our wedding to feel intimate and personal so our guests could come away with a sense of who we are together. From what I hear from our guests, we accomplished that - and had the party of a lifetime while doing it! Our wedding had the perfect moments of touching sentiment, uproarious laughter and dramatic touches, and it was all so genuine!
