FROM THE BRIDE: For our wedding, I really wanted a simple, country wedding. No glitz, no glam, no fussy stuff. So we decided to get married in front of a barn and have the reception inside. We didn't want a typical wedding, but just one that reflected some of the things that we love. Country, fun, dancing, and BBQ! I wanted everything to be pure country. For our food, I wanted to go with a backyard picnic theme, so we had BBQ with all the fixings, cupcakes, and apple pie. I wanted to make sure our guests had a wide range of desserts to choose from instead of just cake treats. My sister made about 4 dozen of her delicious kolaches to go along with all of our other desserts. I will remember my wedding forever and I'll always be glad that we stepped outside the box and were different. Wouldn't have changed a thing!
