FROM THE BRIDE: Our wedding day was gorgeous. It had snowed quite a bit on the Thursday before so I was, of course, nervous that it would keep going until Saturday. It was an abnormally warm day and the sun was out the whole day. We had around 300 guests and they all contributed to make our day so special. We had people flying in from all over the country so it was so exciting to have everyone under one roof! The most important part of the planning for me would probably be my gown. It was a very emotional time for me especially since my family and friends were back in Nebraska and I wasn't able to share it with them as it was happening. Technology made the experience awesome, because i was able to FaceTime my mom through the whole process. From picking out the dress to the alterations, she was able to see it all from 2000 miles away. Because she hadn't seen anything put together, it was important for me to do a first look with both of my parents so they could see the finished product on the day of as a surprise! My favorite memory of my wedding day was walking out of the church for the first time as husband and wife. It was a sense of relief, excitement, and anticipation all rolled into one.
