Perhaps the most fun winter wedding that we've come across, Lisa and Matt embraced the weather on their winter wedding day. We absolutely love the snowy images, captured by Corey Rourke. A good lesson for all brides that, when it comes to Mother Nature, it's best to go with the flow!
FROM THE BRIDE: Ten days out from our wedding, I looked at the weather forecast and it said sunny and 50 degrees. I thought "Wow, we really lucked out for a January 4th wedding!" As the days kept getting closer, the forecast got more and more grim. We ended up with 29 degrees and SNOW! Our photographer, Corey Rourke, asked me if I wanted to avoid the snow or embrace it. Of course, I wanted to embrace the weather! How many days out of the year do you get beautiful snow? To my husband and I, the most important part of the day was walking out of the church as a married couple. We were so blessed with such great friends and family that could be there to share the day with us. Our day was filled with happiness and love. It was a beautiful, snowy day that we will not forget!
