When Molly & Logan's mothers were close friends years ago, they would have never thought their children would end up a happily-married couple! The stars aligned and their wedding day came to be a rustic-chic affair with a subtle hint of romance. Everything was planned with that style in mind, from the venue to the perfect dress, all coming together gorgeously to make their dream a reality. FROM THE BRIDE: Wedding planning as a whole was very important to me, but I'd say creating my vision of rustic-chic with hints of romance had to be my favorite. The number one way of making that dream a reality was through our venue. The barn at the Lied Lodge & Conference Center at Arbor Day Farm was everything and more than I could have EVER dreamed of! With all the rain we had recently had, it was a risk having our ceremony and reception outside, but it was a risk that paid off. One thing I reminisce about is the special moment Logan and I shared in keeping my sisters memory alive during our ceremony. It was a stand-out moment as we released white balloons in her honor. It was hard to hold back the tears, but it was one of those chilling moments we all got to share in as we ended our ceremony and were soon announced as Mr. and Mrs. I loved watching our wedding come together and when the day finally came, my dream became a reality and so much more. So much love, laughter, food, and drinks were had, but most of all lots of celebrating!
