We adore handcrafted details and this wedding is packed full of thoughtful decor, perfect style and flawless beauty. Attanasio Photography always gets it right, but this wedding is true perfection. Go ahead and dive into the details, we are sure you will be just as smitten as we are with this couple!
From the bride: Being a salon owner and having done hair for hundreds of weddings the last 9 years, I was very burnt out on the typical wedding day craziness and all the stress it brings to couples, families, and friends involved. Nate and I were very specific from the beginning that we wanted to keep one thing in mind throughout the whole process: the ONLY important thing on our day was sharing our vows before God, family and friends to love each other for the rest of our lives. We wanted to create a warm, fun, inviting event with great food but not at the cost of hating every second. We kept the end goal in site with all the choices and tried our best to keep things as simple as we could. Knowing in the end all the little things that people tend to stress and fight over would all come and go in one quick day. So, with the help of family and dear friends, we created what I remember as the PERFECT day of my life. I believe the most important thing about your wedding day is to remember why you are there. I think people tend to stress and analyze over every decision and detail, forgetting how crucial and important the meaning of that day brings. To marry the love of your life.
We added as many personal flares as we could, we both love to be outdoors and spend most of our free time camping. So I chose to go with the rustic, shabby chic look. Nate made all of the wooden rustic decor (including our wooden bench alter) and we borrowed several lanterns and had several candles lit to make the ceremony and reception as warm and inviting as possible. We used mason jars filled with baby's breath, sticks and pine cones as fillers. My mother-in-law is extremely talented and she spent hours working to add all the personal final touches including the head table and the back drop burlap curtains. It was more beautiful than I ever imagined, but I still felt like we stayed within our style: down to earth and comfortable. What makes something look beautiful is all within the feeling.
