Caitlin Schroeder and Ryan Weatherly knew each other for years but didn’t really connect until one day in the high school lunch line, which led to daily chats and, eventually, romance. After seven years, Ryan popped the question during a family vacation to South Dakota. On their summer wedding day, Caitlin wore an elegant A-line gown accessorized with a classic cathedral-length veil. Abundant flowers and white drapery adorned the ceremony arbor to complement the dreamy venue. The bride walked down the aisle holding a bouquet wrapped with an urn necklace as a tribute to her late best friend, Lexi. Bridesmaids wore light green gowns for an elegant contrast with the blush-toned florals. After the ceremony, the couple went off to take photos, which became one of their favorite parts of the day. To really wow guests and surprise her husband, Caitlin not only changed into a fun party dress but cut her long hair just before the reception. Wine bottles on each table bore photos of the couple throughout childhood, and an on-site photo booth was a hit with guests, so everyone had a souvenir of the Weatherlys’ wonderful wedding.
