This love story begins with Alexandra’s friend introducing her to “the nicest guy ever” while visiting Omaha from California. What a great friend, right?! Turns out, it worked like a charm and this sweet couple maintained a thriving relationship despite living halfway across the country from one another - that is until Alexandra moved back to Nebraska! Ultimately, Steven would propose to his bride on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC over Independence Day weekend, no less. Talk about fireworks! For their wedding, this couple sought an urban elegance aesthetic and boy, did they nail it - through a neutral palette of black and white, tastefully accentuated with hints of Tiffany blue and pale pink. Of greatest importance for these two was capturing the day through photography and videography. Their photographer even managed to capture all 300 guests in an amazing group photo at the reception with the happy couple front + center! For an added touch of flair, they commissioned an artist to create a live painting to capture the reception in real time. Guests were fascinated to see the artist in action throughout the evening as she created a one-of-a-kind keepsake for the couple.
