trend watch: mismatched bridesmaid gowns

WHY THIS LOOK WORKS: Creating a collective look is effortless if you keep a few rules in mind.

Agree on a hem line. Keep all gowns short, or all long. (Note Molly's bridesmaids selected long gowns, and Miranda's selected all short)

Patterns can add additional character to your bridal party. Miranda's bridesmaids are sporting several different florals, but they all compliment eachother. Stay within a color scheme, and it will look flawless.

Select similar necklines for a more polished, put-together look. With the look above, the necklines are either one shoulder or sleeveless. Since the dresses are short, keeping a modest neckline creates an appropriate look that is also complimentary to many body shapes. Our favorite? That must-have leopard gown. Stunning!
